Service Description

This short course is a training or refresher course in the lifesaving skill of Resuscitation (CPR), using a defibrillator (AED) and treating choking. The course will show you how to use the defibrillator including safety and how it functions, how to assess an unresponsive casualty, how to do CPR and how to treat someone who is choking. The course involves both theory, demonstration and practical elements. This course will take approximately 2-3 hours. This will be taught by ambulance service professionals and is a good introduction to first aid.
